Academic Writing & Wellbeing Workshops for Academic Staff and University Professionals
Award-winning Workshops supporting scholarly writing excellence, creativity, and sustainable research careers
Overview
Universities and research institutions across the UK, USA, and Europe are increasingly seeking professional development provision for academic research staff that supports research excellence alongside wellbeing, confidence, and long‑term career sustainability. Since 2018, these award‑winning workshops have supported thousands of academics to make meaningful progress in their writing while developing sustainable, compassionate approaches to the pressures of contemporary research life.
In 2025, this work received three UK awards, including Best Academic Writing & Research Platform and Best Academic Writing Workshops. These awards recognise both pedagogical rigour and meaningful impact, initially in PhD research development and now increasingly in academic staff research culture and staff wellbeing.
Available as half‑day workshops, full‑day intensives, or 2‑day writing retreats, delivered online or on campus.
2–3 day Academic Writing & Wellbeing Retreats for staff are also available, see more information below.
Dr. Catriona Ryan SFHEA will be the facilitator of the session.
